We finished Hadden's room just in time!! (Here are a few pictures) I love the way it all turned out.
Hadden came a couple weeks early so it was a big surprise since I had gone to the doctor the Friday before and nothing had happened yet. Then came Tuesday, I had tossed and turned that night but nothing out of the normal. I got up and went on to the gym thinking that would make my back feel better. I felt some pains but just thought it was the Braxton Hicks. When I got home and started getting ready for work is when I really started feeling more uncomfortable. I text my friend Erinn to see what real contractions felt like and sure enough that is what I was having. I then let Eric know that I was going to stay home and rest but would be in after lunch. I called the Dr and go figure mine was out of town but they wanted me to come in so they could check. When I got there at 10:30 I was only at a one so they sent me home and said to come back when the contractions were 5min apart. We left and went back to White House (my Dr is at Baptist) by the time we got home they were 3 min apart so we turned around and went back. We got there at 12:30 and I was at 4. Things went really fast, when it came time to push I pushed 4 times and he was born at 3:38. Needless to say I am so thankful for the way things whent for us. Here are some pictures from that day...
This was really the best day of my life. I love being a mommy to this little guy!!!
We got some newborn pictures done about a week after we got home so I thought I would post a couple of my favorites to conclude my first update.
