Where Are We Now??

A little update on where we are in the process and what we have complete.

What We Have Done!!!!!!
We are done collecting the documents we need for our big packet of paper work (Dossier)
- If only it was as simple as one sentence.
Completed our fourth and final home study tonight at our house

What We Have Left?
To review the rough draft of our home study - hopefully we will have this by next Friday
Finalize our home study - once we have this we can submit the
I-600A
Submit the I-600A Application to USCIS
Receiving the I-171H
Certify Dossier documents
SEND EVERYTHING TO OUR AGENCY, AMERICA WORLD!!

Document Meanings:
I-600A - In order to adopt internationally, each family must be approved through USCIS (United States Citizenship Immigration Services) The approval (I-171H) allows families to bring a child into the United States ans is a required step for a child to gain US citizenship.

I-171H - The document of approval which results from the I-600A. This form is one of the most important documents that families receive because this form allows for international children to be brought into the United States! This from could take 4-6 weeks to receive.
