Last Thursday Dustin and I had our long awaited doctors appointment. We had our ultrasound and it was so amazing! It was so awesome to see the sweet little healthy boy that is growing and moving inside of me. It really brought tears to my eyes just seeing what an amazing God that we serve. I just laid there looking at the screen thanking him for this opportunity to be parents to one of his precious children. It really was an incredible experience. Now that we know we are having a boy it just seems even more real then before. I am so ready to start decorating his room. We are hoping over Memorial Day weekend we can start painting the room. It's also hard to not buy cute little boy things when I see them, they are just so darn cute! We do have a name picked out for him. His name will be Hadden Parker Finn. Hadden is my grandfathers middle name and my great grandmothers madden name and Parker is just a name we both really liked. Dustin did a great job picking out the middle name.
As for telling our parents, we had them over Friday night for dinner to tell them and also celebrate mothers day. Friday Dustin had some blue balloons blown up and I wrote it's a boy on one and his name on the other. I tied them to his bed and shut the door. They had to wait until after dinner to find out. The week before they all had told us what they each thought the baby was so I had written them out on poster board for each of them to hold up. We blind folded them and lined them up in his room. On the count of three they could take the blind folds off. It was so fun! I loved telling them this way. After that we gave our moms their gifts from us which was a bib that said " I love going to grandmas" and some copies of the ultrasound pictures to take with them. It's safe to say they loved it. We all had a really good time and I just love the pictures!
Waiting to find out...

After they found out....
